Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By engaging Michael Jackson Dog Training LLC ("we," "our," or "us") for dog training services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

We offer professional dog training services including:

• Puppy Training
• Dog Training
• Intermittent Off-Leash E-Collar Training
• Boarding
• Private One-On-One Training

All services are provided in packages as specified in your service agreement.

Payment Terms

The remaining balance is due according to your service agreement. For boarding programs, full payment is typically due before or at the start of the boarding period.

Package Validity

All training packages are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase. Unused sessions after the expiration date will be forfeited with no refund or extension, except in documented medical emergencies evaluated case-by-case.

Cancellation Policy

We require 24-hour notice for session cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less than 24-hour notice may be counted as a used session. No-shows result in forfeiture of that session from your package.

Health and Vaccination Requirements

All dogs must be current on required vaccinations before beginning training:

• Rabies (required by law)
• Distemper/Parvovirus (DHPP or equivalent)
• Bordetella (kennel cough)

Proof of vaccination must be provided before services begin. Dogs without current vaccinations will not be accepted.

Behavioral Disclosure

You must fully disclose any history of aggression, biting, or dangerous behavior. This includes bites to people or animals, aggressive displays (lunging, growling, snapping), and known triggers. Failure to disclose this information is grounds for immediate dismissal from the program with no refund.

Emergency Veterinary Care

In the event of a medical emergency during boarding or training, you authorize us to seek emergency veterinary care for your dog. You are responsible for all veterinary costs incurred. We will make every effort to contact you before seeking treatment unless immediate care is necessary.

Photo and Video Consent

By default, you consent to us photographing and video recording your dog during training for progress updates and educational/marketing purposes. You may opt out by notifying us in writing before services begin or at any time thereafter.

Training Results

While we provide the highest quality training, we cannot guarantee specific results. Outcomes depend on your consistency in practicing at home, your dog's individual temperament, the severity of behavioral issues, and environmental factors.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Michael Jackson Dog Training LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Assumption of Risk

Dog training involves inherent risks including bites, scratches, and injuries. You acknowledge these risks and agree to hold us harmless except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate services for failure to comply with these terms, non-payment, non-disclosure of material information, or behavior that creates safety risks. Upon termination, you will not be entitled to a refund for unused portions of your package.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
